Injection molding for
global product leaders

Injection molding melts plastic and injects it into a custom mold, where it cools into a single-piece part that is strong, consistent and repeatable. That is why it remains the default process for high-volume work where tolerance and finish both matter.
Founded in 2001, Alcami designs and manufactures plastic molds, parts and casings across four facilities in Thailand, the Philippines and Singapore — and injection molding is the cornerstone of what we do.
Why it wins
The big costs come once, up front, in the tooling. After that, a single mold turns out large numbers of identical parts at a very low cost per part.
Each cycle molds one uniform, single-piece part — no joints, no welds — which is what gives molded parts their strength and clean finish.
Runners and offcuts are minimal, in line with our ISO 14001 commitment — and the ten-thousandth part matches the first.
What separates our plastic injection factory from most contract molders in the region: mold design, CAM programming and CNC machining all happen in-house — on our own equipment, by our own engineers.
When a first article comes back with a short shot or a witness line in the wrong place, the fix is a job on our shop floor — not a purchase order to a mold shop in another country.
We run both injection molding and thermoforming in-house. Tell us your part and volume, and we will point you to the process that actually fits — not the one that is easiest to sell.
Small, intricate, identical parts — at volume.
Larger, lighter parts — fast and affordable to tool.
Not sure which way to go? We do both — send your part and we will tell you which is right for you.
From precision electronics casings to cleanroom medical components, plastic injection molding shapes the small, precise, identical parts that other processes struggle to match.
Precision casings, housings and internal components for consumer electronics — molded, tested and DI-washed for clean assembly.

Assembly · QC · One supplierWe mold the standard commodity and engineering polymers — matched to your strength, temperature, wear and food- or medical-contact requirements.
We also mold specialty sustainable materials — bio-based, biodegradable and recycled grades. Working to a spec, food-contact or medical grade? Send it over — we will match the material to your part.
Molding is where the job starts, not where it ends. Washing, testing, welding, packing and transport all happen on the same site — so your plastic molding and manufacturing stays in one place.
Getting a molded part into production takes three steps — and our engineers stay involved throughout, happy to advise your design team on what will and will not run well on our machines.
A 3D CAD file with a print sheet showing tolerances, material specification and volumes. Design not final? Our engineers will review it for moldability before you commit to tooling.
We quote tooling and cost per part separately, so you can see where your money goes — then build and test the mold.
Once the tool passes QA and you approve the parts, production runs at your volume — parts molded, finished, packed and delivered.
Inside one molding cycle
The two mold halves close and clamp under pressure, ready for the shot.
Melted plastic is injected into the closed mold until the cavity is filled.
The part cools — timed to its thickness and material — while the machine reloads for the next shot.
The mold opens and ejector pins push the finished part out. Then the cycle repeats, identically.

Concept to production-ready
A wearable sports-sensor startup came to us with 3D concept models. Our engineers overmolded a TPE seal directly onto the medical-grade casing and insert-molded the metal charging pin — taking the design to production-ready in three months.

Established and patented in 2004, Scraperite is a line of plastic razor blades and holders for cleaning and scraping surfaces where metal blades would cause damage. After its 2019 rebrand, Scraperite chose Alcami as its turnkey manufacturer — from CAD and mold making to production molding, packing and palletized delivery.

Alcami is an excellent, highly professional manufacturer for our quality plastic parts.
Cost is what brings buyers to Thailand for plastic molding manufacturing. Our own tooling shop, cleanrooms and test lab are why they stay with Alcami.
Mold design, CAM programming and CNC machining in-house — so a design revision is a same-week job on our own floor, not a round trip in a shipping container.
Quicker tool builds, shorter cycle times and a faster first good part — with steel available when your volume demands it.
Materials combined in one molded part for sealing, soft-touch surfaces or multiple colors — removing an assembly step from your line.
Class 10,000 / ISO 7 cleanroom molding with in-house DI washing, and double-sealed Class 100 bagging or vacuum sealing.
Environmental, mechanical and ESD testing plus CMM measurement — all under one roof.

As a rule of thumb, injection molding wins for small, precise parts at high volumes; thermoforming wins for larger parts and faster, cheaper tooling. We run both in-house, so we recommend the process that genuinely fits your part and volume — not just the one we would like to sell.
We work primarily in aluminium because it gives faster mold builds, faster cycle times and easier revisions than steel. For very high volumes or abrasive-filled materials we also build in hardened and pre-hardened steel — we recommend the tooling material that fits your volume, not a default.
Yes. We mold in Class 10,000 / ISO 7 cleanrooms, wash parts with ultra-pure deionized water from our in-house DI plant, and finish with double-sealed Class 100 bagging or vacuum sealing for parts that must arrive clean.
Yes. Overmolding combines two or more materials in a single molded part — a seal, a soft-touch grip or a second color — which removes an assembly step and improves the finished product.

MOQ is assessed per project, because the right volume for a promotional toy is not the right volume for an electronic device casing. Share your part and target volume and we will quote accordingly.
